About this record
Every company selling a medicine in India files its price list with the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority under the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013. NPPA publishes those filings through its Pharma Sahi Daam service, one search at a time. This record reads all of them on one day, keeps each answer as received, and sets them side by side: brand, pack, composition, company, maximum retail price, price per unit, and whether NPPA has fixed a ceiling.
Failed batches come from the monthly alerts of the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation, which name the product, the batch, the manufacturer and the test failed. NPPA names the company that markets a medicine; CDSCO names the plant that made the batch. They are often not the same firm.
Prices are those filed for July 2026, read on 2 Oct 2026. Companies are grouped only where the relation is a matter of record (a subsidiary, a division, a merger); names that merely look alike are kept apart. Nothing here is Counterfoil's opinion of a medicine.
Prices are the maximum retail prices each company filed with the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) for July 2026, read from NPPA's Pharma Sahi Daam service on 2 Oct 2026. A price in a shop can be lower; it may not lawfully be higher. Failed batches are those CDSCO and state laboratories declared not of standard quality. This is a record of prices and filings, not medical advice: do not change a medicine without your doctor or pharmacist. Source: NPPA and CDSCO, Government of India. About this record.
