Privacy Policy.What we collect, and why.

What we collect
- When you buy: your email address, the site you bought a dossier for, and the payment reference, amount and status Razorpay returns. Card and bank details are entered with Razorpay and never reach us.
- When you write to us: your name, email and message.
- When you browse: usage data through Google Analytics (pages viewed, approximate location, device), which uses cookies. Our servers keep short-lived technical logs. We do not store raw IP addresses with orders or messages; rate limiting uses keyed, rotating hashes.
How we use it
To deliver what you bought, send receipts and service messages, answer you, prevent fraud and abuse, meet legal and tax obligations, and understand how the site is used. We do not sell personal data and do not send marketing without your consent.
Who we share it with
Only the processors needed to run the service: Razorpay (payments), our email delivery provider (receipts and dossiers), Google (analytics) and our hosting provider, each bound to use it only for that purpose. We disclose data where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Messages are kept while needed to answer them. Download links expire after 30 days.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable law, by writing to hello@counterfoil.in. We will reply within 30 days. You may block analytics cookies in your browser.
